In Finland, as in most of Europe, the alcohol limit for driving a motor vehicle is 0.05% and for serious offenses it is 0.12%.

Kapanen is about to begin his first season with the Blues after being claimed off waivers by Missouri last year. He had 34 points in 66 games in the 2022-23 season after starting the season with the Pittsburgh Penguins.

The right winger, who also played for the Toronto Maple Leafs, has 186 points in 387 career games in the National League.
