Drone attack on industrial plant near Russian border

According to the governor, an industrial plant was attacked by drones in the Russian border region of Bryansk and a fire broke out. An administrative building caught fire in the regional capital of the same name, Bryansk, on Thursday night, Alexander Bogomas wrote on Telegram. He blamed Ukraine for the drone attack, in which no one was injured. Initially it was not known which industrial installation it was.

A little later, the Russian Defense Ministry announced that air defense had repelled two drones in Bryansk. This could not be independently verified.

Russia has been waging a war of aggression against its neighboring country, Ukraine, for over a year and a half. As a result, repeated bombings occur on Russian territory, often in the border region. However, the number of casualties and damage are disproportionate to the consequences of the war in Ukraine.
