A rock fell on the Los Angeles Rams’ heads on Saturday when they announced that star receiver Cooper Kupp’s name had been put on the injured list with a hamstring injury.
Kupp will be sidelined for the first four games of the season, which begins Sunday.

The 30-year-old athlete suffered this injury on August 1, and it worsened last week.
Rams head coach Sean McVay said Kupp was in Minnesota to consult with an expert about his injury.
The 2021 NFL Offensive Player of the Year has not appeared in any of his team’s preseason games this season.
The Washington native was slowed by an ankle injury last year. He finished the season with 75 receptions for 812 yards and six touchdowns.
