The Montreal City Police Service (SPVM) reported that six people were poisoned by ingesting an unknown substance.

The connections between these people are still unknown, but it appears that they were traveling together on the public road, according to information from the SPVM.

The SPVM spokesperson explained that “these are exceptional circumstances.”

Police are still waiting for the results of blood tests to identify the substances responsible for this extraordinary situation.

A perimeter was also set up in the entertainment district to investigate the causes of these poisonings.
