Less than 24 hours after the film’s world premiere at the Toronto Film Festival, director Sophie Dupuis unveiled her third feature film: Soloon Monday evening at the Cinéma Impérial for the public in Montreal.

The filmmaker walked the red carpet accompanied by several stars of her film, including her favorite actor Théodore Pellerin.
Solo, the third feature film by Sophie Dupuis (after Chien de garde and Souterrain), tells the story of Simon (Pellerin), a rising star of the Montreal drag scene, who falls madly in love with Olivier (Félix Maritaud), a newcomer to the drag scene Bar where he works.
The film will also be presented at the opening of the Quebec City Film Festival on Thursday. “Solo” will then be released in cinemas across the province on Friday.
