Speaking to Sophie Durocher on QUB Radio, the general director of Élégance VR, Jean-Louis Roy, admits that he was surprised by the impact of his gesture on social networks.
“We didn’t want to [de visibilité], we just wanted to help, that’s all. But it had a very special effect,” he admits with a laugh.

On Facebook, the Cowboys Fringants wanted to thank Élégance VR for their generosity. Their new vehicle will allow the group’s lead singer, Karl Tremblay, to continue their tour in comfortable and relaxed conditions while continuing to battle cancer.
“They were able to use the motorhome as part of their tour, but they also have other times. Jean-François and Karl were there with their family and they really enjoyed it. Introducing them to something more, something new, that’s fun,” says Jean-Louis Roy.
After a stop in Saint-Tite during the Western Festival, the Cowboys Fringants will continue their tour in the cities of Gatineau, Brossard, Joliette and Sherbrooke until October 20, to the delight of Quebecers.
