The EB3A energy station measures approximately 18 cm x 18 cm x 25 cm and weighs approximately 4.5 kg.

The front has all the inputs and outputs, a security light (with various modes, including flashing), and there’s even a wireless charger on top.
The nine outputs (the ports that power our devices) are divided into two groups, AC and DC, each with its own power switch.

After receiving the EB3A with a 66% charge, I began discharging the station by connecting several power-hungry devices such as a window air conditioner, a portable fan, my laptop, and my phone.
Once it was discharged, I plugged it directly into an outlet in my kitchen.
At first I wondered if it was actually charging since there was no indicator light and the screen was off.
After leaving the station for about 25 minutes, the device was almost fully charged.
In fact, the Bluetti website states that the EB3A charges to 80% in 30 minutes when plugged in.
After another 20 minutes it was at 100%.
The EB3A can be charged in different ways:

- Using a solar panel (with cable included)
- By connecting a cigarette lighter adapter
A combination of different charging methods is also possible.
Although connecting to the power grid was quick and efficient, it is reassuring to know that other options are available should the need arise.

How I tested the Bluetti EB3A
Inside
With so many devices in the home powered by either a wall outlet or USB, testing the Bluetti EB3A was easy.
I started by connecting my laptop, phone and a monitor to see how long I could keep them running with the EB3A.
After a power outage at home, I was able to test the Bluetti EB3A in a real situation.
The Bluetti EB3A’s LED screen shows you how much time remains to charge connected devices before the battery runs out.
I was able to use my laptop, monitor and phone for 3 hours and just my phone for 24 hours.
My mini fridge could last another 3.5 hours in a power outage.
I liked the wireless charging feature at the top of the device, which is handy for charging my phone without using the USB ports.

Next, I tested the Bluetti EB3A in my garden by connecting a small heater, a pair of LED lights and a Bluetooth speaker.
The Bluetti EB3A told me that it could run these devices for several hours.
I also tested the EB3A in my greenhouse with a fan, two hydroponic pumps and an exhaust fan.
The autonomy announced by the Bluetti EB3A was still several hours.
Camping with Bluetti EB3A
I couldn’t wait to try out the EB3A on a real camping trip.
There were three of us on a 3 day/2 night getaway and the station was able to charge all of our devices throughout the campsite, with just over 40% battery left at the end of the stay.
In addition to charging our 3 cell phones, we also used it to charge our headlamps and other camping lights several times, as well as our Sonos Roam Bluetooth speaker, which worked constantly.
However, you have to be careful not to expose the EB3A to the rain as I’m not sure how waterproof it is.
