The Sex Education cast members complete their final requirements before heading off to new projects. That means they’re returning for the fourth and final season of Netflix’s raunchy teen dramedy, out September 21st. The official trailer promises that the series will do what it does best – put its beloved characters in comedic sexual situations in which they learn more about themselves and what it means to grow up. The all-time Endgame couple, Maeve (Emma Mackey) and Otis (Asa Butterfield), face some obstacles in their long-distance relationship (Otis isn’t sure about his dick pics). Eric (Ncuti Gatwa) finally seems to be leaving his childish bully boyfriend (Connor Swindells) by meeting hot people at clubs. And Aimee (Aimee Lou Wood) started a masturbation diary. Nevertheless, our sex therapist, who had no competition in Moordale, finds that he is now a small fish in a big pond. There is another sex therapist at his new school who competes with him. “You should try to enjoy the journey,” Otis says. “It won’t last forever.” Gatwa will next star in Doctor Who after appearing with Emma Mackey in Greta Gerwig’s Barbie. Looks like Moordale didn’t have half a bad education after all.
