Apple Watch Ultra 2: 3000 nits towards the sun
It is the brightest screen that Apple has developed: with its 3000 cd/m², even the most intense sun cannot harm it. It has to be said that the 2000 cd/m² of the first Apple Watch Ultra has now been overtaken by the Galaxy Watch 6 and the Apple Watch Series 9.
The watch also takes advantage of the ends of the screen with its so-called “Modular Ultra” watch faces, which can display the data of your choice on the same screen, be it the time, your heart rate or your altitude. The night mode becomes more intelligent and is activated automatically depending on the position of the sun and the time, adapting to the other devices of the brand.

Apple has obviously placed emphasis on sports activities. First, running with the ability to connect your Apple Watch Ultra 2 to your other devices (iPhone, iPad, etc.) via Bluetooth for an accurate report of the speed and cadence of your sessions. For divers, the watch offers a more accurate measurement of your sessions by showing the duration of your dives as well as the depth, which can be measured up to 40 meters. And for mountain climbers, the Apple Watch Ultra 2 works up to 4,000 meters. Dual-frequency GPS also promises greater precision. When it comes to autonomy, Apple promises 36 hours in classic use and 72 hours in “low power mode”.
The new Apple Watch will be available in France from September 22nd, starting at 899 euros. That’s 100 euros less than the first generation. In addition, like the first version, the Apple Watch Ultra 2 is only available in one color, titanium gray.
