The Cowboys drove all summer in a Sherbrooke RV – Radio-Canada.ca

The Cowboys Fringants did not perform in Sherbrooke during the Fête du Lac des Nations, but the group covered the miles during their summer tour in a recreational vehicle made by Sherbrooke company Élégance VR. Members of the group thanked the company on their social networks.

It’s rare that we do this type of release, but today we’d like to pay tribute to Jean-Louis Roy, owner of Élégance VR based in Sherbrooke. Jean-Louis kindly lent us a motorhome for our festival summer to give the group and especially Karl a comfortable and relaxed trip, as we can read in a Facebook post on the group’s page.

The Cowboys Fringants were looking for a vehicle to travel with during their tour of Quebec, but the RV also allowed the group to travel with their family.

Our goal was never to make it a publicity stunt, but rather to help.

The company’s managing director, Jean-Louis Roy, explains that the group has approached recreational vehicle companies to lend a vehicle and that Élégance VR has raised its hand.

The group, which ended its summer at the Saint-Tite Western Festival, gave the general director tickets as a thank you.

“We met her in person in the dressing room after the show,” says Mr Roy. They had a lot of fun and, above all, it lightened up their usual tour […] This allowed them to make their journey easier.

The Cowboys-Fringants will continue their tour in several Quebec cities through the end of October, including Sherbrooke, on October 20 at the Granada Theater. This evening is already sold out.
