An illegal warehouse very close to the Sucre Lantic store on Notre-Dame Street in Montreal continues to expand.

We can observe that a small community of homeless people has settled behind an abandoned building.
A lot of different items were collected: tents, mattresses, blankets, grills and even a microwave.
As the cold season arrives, Wayne, a homeless man currently living there, said the situation is not ideal.
“I won’t spend the winter here, that’s not true,” he said with a laugh during an interview on LCN.

“There’s one who’s been here for nine or 10 months, he’s well established,” explains Wayne.
