Aaron Rodgers has completed surgery for his ruptured Achilles tendon, he revealed on his Instagram Story.
The quarterback admitted he was “completely broken” after his season-ending injury Monday against the Bills, but appeared to be in a happier mood as he posed in the hospital bed with a gentle smile.
“Surgery yesterday went great,” he wrote over the photo on his Instagram Story.
“Thank you for all the love, prayers and support.” And thanks to the [GOAT] Dr. El Attrache and his staff for putting me on the road to recovery.’

After his offensive line gave in to the Bills’ pass rush, Leonard Floyd got to Rodgers in the backfield.
As Floyd sacked the four-time MVP, Rodgers’ foot caught on MetLife Stadium’s artificial turf and ruptured his Achilles tendon – requiring the QB to be helped off the field and then transported to the locker room.
After further examination by team doctors and an MRI, he was diagnosed with a ruptured Achilles tendon – which spelled the end of his season.
