Rio Singer Ludmilla spoke out on Twitter this Friday (15) after her blood donation campaign was rejected by Hemominas, the company responsible for MG donations. In her profile, she complained about the foundation’s decision not to allow her to give away 700 “Numanice” tickets to donors in Belo Horizonte.

“I am amazed that a social campaign like ‘Numanice is in the blood’ is being repealed. There is a shortage of blood in blood donation centers across Brazil, and if anyone does anything to encourage donations, they simply slow down the movement.” The event is of no use. On the contrary, we invest time and energy in the public. It has always been a dream to be able to help others carry out social actions, and now that I can do that, I am frustrated by this kind of attitude…” he lamented.

“Ideally, something like this wouldn’t need any encouragement, but unfortunately the world isn’t that fairytalelike. In the meantime, we could discuss a way to create more opportunities for encouragement like @DudaSalabert is mobilizing. I just found out.” that she has filed the “Ludmilla Law Project” to support the cause. My team is already contacting her to understand it better so we can join forces and continue saving lives together. Finally, “Numanice is in my blood.” ‘ will be confirmed in other cities in collaboration with the blood banks at the respective locations, which will be announced soon,” he concluded.

Earlier on the same day, Hemominas released a clarification explaining his decision and thanking the artist for the suggestion. “Current legislation prohibits offering direct or indirect benefits to blood donors. It must also be remembered that Hemominas follows the General Data Protection Law (LGPD) and does not send sensitive data about its donors to potential partners. “Hemominas welcomes any support for voluntary blood donation, from artists, the press and nonfamous people,” published the official profile of the institution on Instagram.

Internet users were disappointed by the cancellation of the project and also took to the networks to express their dissatisfaction: “This initiative is super cool!! It’s absurd that it’s canceled,” one person commented. “A nice campaign that needs to be promoted and supported more. It’s unfortunate that they’re blocking this!” lamented another. “Their attitude is great and it is unbelievable that the project is blocked here in MG. I hope this is reversed. They are very necessary,” said a third.
