On Tuesday’s episode of The Osbournes podcast, the Black Sabbath singer revealed that he was about to undergo his fourth surgery in connection with his 2003 ATV accident.
“My lower back is… I’m going to have an epidural soon because they found out the neck was repaired. There were two vertebrae under my neck where the quadriceps hit me that had disintegrated and there was nothing left of them, he said. All I know is that I’m in a lot of pain right now. I feel very uncomfortable.”
When his daughter Kelly Osbourne asked him if he had sought a second opinion, his wife Sharon Osbourne replied: “[Le médecin] said, “Look, we don’t know if it’s going to work.” If it doesn’t, we’ll do it [demander un] second and third opinions. And he’s doing it now.”
The singer was involved in a quad bike accident in 2003 in which metal rods were installed in his body. In 2019, he suffered a fall that caused these metal bars to come off, requiring additional surgery. “What’s happening now…in my back, both discs and the muscles in my shoulders have separated from my skeleton, and so I’m leaning forward because it’s like gravity is moving my head forward,” he continued . I thought when [le médecin] said this: “I’ve walked like this all my life.”
Sharon Osbourne added: “I said it [Ozzy]: “Why did you always run like that?” And he said, “When I was little, I thought that was cool.”
In 2020, Ozzy Osbourne was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease. He also recently had a caval filter removed from one of his arteries.
