A man was arrested in the early hours of Saturday after he was seen climbing in the Royal Mews next to Buckingham Palace in London, police said.
Officers were alerted at 1.25am by reports that the man had climbed the wall to get into the Royal Mews, which adjoins the palace gardens.
According to police, a 25-year-old man was held outside the stables at the Royal Mews, which is responsible for all travel arrangements for King Charles and members of the royal family and is home to the Gold State Coach.
The man was arrested under the Serious Organized Crime and Police Act for trespassing and taken into custody, police said.
