Hugh Jackman’s estranged wife Deborra-Lee Furness was spotted on Saturday, just a day after she announced the end of her marriage after 27 years together.
The 67-year-old actress looked casual in a short-sleeved red flannel shirt worn over a long-sleeved white top and capri pants as she walked her dog through New York City.
She wore a cream-colored fedora and purple-tinted round sunglasses to protect her face from the sun.
She wore a pair of black Celine platform sandals and continued to go without her wedding ring.
The Beautiful star seemed to be in better spirits despite the split – Hugh admitted to TMZ that it had been “a difficult time” for both of them.

On Friday, Furness and her longtime husband released a joint statement confirming their separation.
She and the Wolverine actor announced they were filing for divorce after nearly three decades of marriage.
“We have been fortunate to spend nearly three decades together as husband and wife in a wonderful, loving marriage,” read a statement obtained by PEOPLE.
“Our journey is now changing and we have decided to separate to further our individual growth,” the couple explained as their reason for ending their marriage.
“Our family has always been and will always be our top priority,” the statement continued. “We approach this next chapter with gratitude, love and kindness.”
They also added, “We thank you very much for your understanding in respecting our privacy as our family navigates this transition throughout our lives.”
The Australian couple have two adult children – son Oscar, 23, and daughter Ava, 18.
Last April, the couple celebrated their 27th wedding anniversary and Jackman posted a gushing tribute to his wife on Instagram.
“I love you, Deb.” Today is our 27th wedding anniversary. 27 years! “I love you so much,” the actor wrote in his caption.
“Together we have created a beautiful family.” And life. Your laughter, your spirit, your generosity, your humor, your sass, your courage and your loyalty are an incredible gift to me. “I love you with all my heart,” he shared in the heartfelt post.

A few months earlier, in February, Jackman revealed the secret of their long-term marriage while appearing on Smooth Radio.
“I think about honesty, intimacy and saving time [are the secret to a long and happy marriage]” he said at the time. “You can’t just assume that everything will go well.” “You have to take your time.”
Jackman was also seen in public on Saturday – the first time since news of their split.
The actor had already removed his wedding ring and was seen with a bare finger on his left hand.
Jackman spoke briefly to paparazzi around town and admitted that he and his soon-to-be ex-wife are struggling with their split.
As he walked down a street, he said, “It’s a difficult time,” but declined to talk further about the split.
