Boxing: Eye of the Tiger Management is Promoter of the Year

For the second year in a row, the North American Boxing Federation (NABF) awarded Eye of the Tiger Management the title of Promoter of the Year, a recognition the Montreal organization is proud to accept.

During its 53rd Annual Meeting, held last week in Orlando, NABF recognized the work done by President Camille Estephan’s company. He highlighted the contribution of partners such as broadcaster TVA Sports and recalled some notable EOTTM events, in particular Christian Mbilli’s victory against Carlos Gongora on March 23 to defend the WBC Continental of the Americas and WBA International titles in super means.

The performances of other stablemates such as heavyweight Arslanbek Makhmudov, who made his American debut in July, and undefeated super middleweight Erik Bazinyan also caught Estephan’s attention.

“This award validates the hard work our team has put in over the last few months and solidifies our position as a leader in the promotion of professional boxing, both nationally and internationally,” he said in a press release on Tuesday. The passion for our sport is at the heart of our successes and we work with selected partners to whom I dedicate this award as they are an essential part of our success. A special thank you also goes to the boxing fans, without whom none of this would be possible.”

EOTTM will hold a gala on October 11th at the Cabaret du Casino de Montréal where Mary Spencer will look to avenge her only career loss against Belgium’s Femke Hermans. The two boxers will fight for the IBF and IBO super middleweight world titles.
