Of the eight billion people on earth, 395,000 belong to the “ultrarich” social class, which corresponds to 0.005% of the world’s population. These are people with a net worth of more than $30 million. The data is part of the WealthX 2023 World Ultra Wealth report, which analyzes data on the wealthiest part of the population.

According to the document, the group had combined assets of $45 billion in 2022. Of this, 24% are accounted for by billionaires, who make up 1% of the richest people in the world.

The research shows that 15% of the group analyzed by WealthX 2023 World Ultra Wealth live in ten cities, half of them in the United States. Two other metropolises favored by the ultrarich are in Europe. The other three are on the Asian continent, where the city tops the list.
