Samsung W24 – Chinese analogue of the Galaxy Fold 5 with 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage priced at $2340 – gagadget.com

Samsung has introduced the Samsung W24 smartphone in China. This model is the Chinese analogue of the Galaxy Fold 5, which was launched on the global market about two months ago.

Here’s what we know

On the technical side, the Samsung W24 only has two differences from the Galaxy Fold 5. Firstly, the company has discontinued the 256 and 512GB storage versions, secondly, the 1TB storage variant has received 16GB of RAM instead of 12GB.

The remaining settings are identical. So, the Samsung W24 is equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip with up to 3.36 Hz, a main camera with a resolution of 50 MP + 10 MP + 12 MP and two front modules with 4 MP (under the screen) and 10 MP. The battery capacity was 4400 mAh.

The Samsung W24 received two screens. The main screen has a diagonal of 7.6 inches, the size of the additional screen was 6.2 inches. Both are based on Dynamic AMOLED 2X panels with a frame rate of 120 Hz and support for HDR10+.

Price and availability date

The Samsung W24 comes with an S Pen and a logo case. The price of the smartphone is set at $2,340. In comparison, you can buy the Samsun Galaxy Fold 5 in the 12/1024GB variant in the US for $2,160.
