Billy Miller, who won three Daytime Emmy Awards for his work on “The Young and the Restless” before moving to General Hospital, has reportedly died at the age of 43.

Michael Fairman TV announced the news on Saturday, September 16, citing a source who said the actor died a day earlier – and just two days before his 44th birthday – although no cause of death was revealed became.

The Belmont, a Los Angeles company in which Miller was a partner, also confirmed the soap star’s death, adds Michael Fairman TV.

Miller got his start in Hollywood with a guest role on CSI: NY in 2006 and played Richie Novak on the ABC soap All My Children from 2007 to 2008, as seen below.

The Oklahoma native joined The Young and the Restless in 2008 and took on the role of Billy Abbott. For his performance in the CBS series, he was nominated three times in the Daytime Emmys’ Supporting Actor in a Drama Series category, where he won twice, and twice nominated in the Lead Actor in a Drama Series category, where he won once.

Beginning in 2014, Miller played Jason Morgan on General Hospital – a role previously played by Steve Burton – and received another Daytime Emmy nomination for lead actor for this role on the ABC soap. When Burton returned as Jason in 2017, Miller’s version of the character was revealed to be Drew Cain, Jason’s twin brother.

However, Miller wasn’t just on daytime television. He also had recurring roles on the primetime television series “Ringer,” “Ray Donovan” and “Suits.” And on the big screen, he appeared alongside Bradley Cooper in the 2014 Oscar-nominated film “American Sniper.”

Miller most recently starred in “Truth Be Told” as Alex Dunn, the husband of one of Lizzy Caplan’s twin characters on the Apple TV+ drama, and he made guest appearances on “The Rookie” and “NCIS.”
