Post-tropical storm Lee wreaked havoc in coastal provinces and dumped heavy rain in eastern Quebec.

Coastal areas of Nova Scotia were hit hard by the weather, with waves over 10 meters high observed.
Lee made landfall 200 km west of Halifax around 5 p.m., causing tens of thousands of outages.
As it moved east, the system diverged, allowing parts of the Maritimes to escape without major damage.
In Halifax, power lines were downed and trees were downed.

Environment and Climate Change Canada released a weather summary of rain in eastern Quebec on Sunday morning.
Gaspésie was not spared from the water accumulations, while the town of Gaspé recorded 113 mm of rain since Saturday.
“Post-Tropical Storm Lee has brought large amounts of rain to East Gaspésie since Saturday morning. Overall, it fell by 40 to 50 millimeters […] The rain will continue […] on the north coast, where we expect 20 to 30 millimeters more by this evening,” the government organization said.
Around ten millimeters of rain is expected in Gaspésie on Sunday.
