Leonardo DiCaprio is “investing in a vegan sneaker brand popular with Hollywood stars and royalty” and is selling the shoes for an eye-watering £200
Hollywood heartthrob Leonardo DiCaprio has invested his money in a vegan trainer brand, LØCI Web has learnt.
The British label is popular with its celebrity colleagues as well as members of the royal family, including Ben Affleck, Meghan Markle and Princess Eugenie.
Available in a range of colors and styles, LØCI’s stylish shoes don’t come cheap, costing an average of £200 a pair.
The brand boasts of “ethical fashion without compromising on style” and uses “high-quality, reused sea and land plastic,” which was undoubtedly a draw for climate activist Leo.
James Blunt’s aristocratic wife Sofia also designed a collection for the label, which benefited the Blue Marine Foundation.

Web has contacted the actor’s representatives for comment.
Earlier this year, Titanic star Leo risked accusations of eco-hypocrisy when he was seen leaving Porto Cervo in Sardinia via a private airport.
The actor, a well-known climate activist, boarded a plane at Olbia’s private airport, which has its own private jet terminal for wealthy travelers.
This is because he has been traveling between the US and cities like London, Milan and Paris over the past few months, accumulating over 12,000 travel miles.
Leo had previously come under fire for his use of gas-guzzling private jets.
In 2016, he was mocked for taking an 8,000-mile trip on a private jet from Europe to New York City to accept an award for his environmental activism.
CO2 emissions from private jets vary, but some reports suggest they are more than 37 times higher than commercial flights.
This comes after the actor found himself at the center of controversy – following his public kiss with Italian model Vittoria Ceretti, 25, in Ibiza earlier this month.

And the Hollywood star has received some backlash on Twitter for dating another younger model.
The Revenant sensation was seen in a passionate clinch with his new love Vittoria during a recent visit to Hi Ibiza nightclub on the Spanish party island.
He has a reputation for only dating women under 25 and is notoriously prone to breaking up with them after they reach the milestone – as he did with his last serious girlfriend, Camila Morrone, now 26.
After the pictures with Vittoria surfaced, many were quick to make fun of him because it wouldn’t be a long-term relationship since she turns 26 next June.
One wrote: “She’ll be gone before this tweet is done,” while another joked: “Another year and he won’t look at her again.”
Leonardo and Vittoria, who have a 23-year age gap between them, were spotted partying at the venue until 4:30am, gazing lovingly into each other’s eyes before locking lips.
