Soap opera “Renascer”: Who are Teodoro and Venâncio?

In the rural soap opera, Teodoro repeats Belarmino’s steps and is unusually jealous of José Inocêncio. The farmer is married to Dona Patroa and Sandra’s father. The marriage does not prevent him from falling in love with Joaninha, the wife of the eccentric Sebastião/Tião Galinha, and Eliana, who in turn becomes involved with João Pedro, one of Inocêncio’s four children.

It is worth remembering that Mariana will be Eliana’s rival, having an affair not only with João Pedro, but also with Inocêncio himself, causing a greater rift in the relationship between son and father, who, meanwhile, has the youngest son, Maria Santa , blames birth for his wife’s death.

And Venâncio not to be confused with José Venâncio is Quitéria’s husband. The relationship gave birth to Maria Santa, who, to her father’s horror, becomes involved with Inocêncio. To his great delight, Venâncio is still the head of the ox at celebrations.
