On Sunday the big red carpet of Occupation Double Andalusia was broadcast.
A new formula allowed boys to have a one-on-one date with a girl of their choice. On the other hand, they were spied on by the other participants, who then had to decide whether they wanted to keep the candidate in the adventure or not.
All the bachelors were very nervous but did their best to seduce their suitors.
Last year, viewers were hugely disappointed when Dave left the show early, and it was his departure that encouraged the production to change the red carpet concept this year.
Despite this change, there were still some heartbreaking exits in Andalusia on Sunday. The one who broke the hearts of the show’s fans the most was Frenchman Jo. With his “crispy-melting” facial expression, he enchanted the audience more than the OD girls.
While the red carpet wasn’t full of twists and turns like previous years, it did offer a very interesting twist as one contestant was pre-selected by the girls’ friends and family members as the “ideal son-in-law.”

We love that this year’s red carpet was simpler. We clearly felt the desire to return to base and we appreciated it.
Many viewers also said they were pleasantly surprised by the effectiveness of Alicia and Fred’s animation. Aside from a few exchanges that seemed a bit too scripted, the pair actually delivered a remarkable performance that holds promise for the future!
