RuPaul’s Drag Race UK is preparing to return for its fifth season with brand new queens finally being announced.
The hit BBC show will feature a number of fabulous queens hoping to impress judges RuPaul, Michelle Visage, Alan Carr and Graham Norton.
The series’ five guest judges were recently confirmed, including Yasmin Finney (Doctor Who, Heartstopper), Suranne Jones (Gentleman Jack, Doctor Foster) and Aisling Bea (This Way Up, Taskmaster).
Carol Vorderman and Alexandra Burke have also been named as famous faces taking part in the fan-favorite Snatch Game challenge.
But first, let’s get to know the queens of Drag Race UK in 2023.

She couldn’t contain her excitement at being selected for the fifth series of Drag Race UK, describing it as a “dream come true”.
Banksie revealed she comes from the same Manchester drag family as Drag Race UK finalist Cheddar Gorgeous.
She explained: “I like to describe myself as the trash baby of the family – I run around and am a bit of an idiot.”
Cara Melle

She moved to the UK from Atlanta, Georgia to study at the London College of Fashion before becoming a drag queen.
She said: “I grew up with a group of British drag sisters and so my drag was born and raised in London where I am known as the Beyoncé of the drag scene.”
“I’ve been on TV, on billboards and in numerous advertising campaigns. The CV is long! I’m a legend – google me!’
DeDeLicious
Head-turning: DeDeLicious, 20, is from Kent and describes her drag as “polished, ridiculous, gigantic, stupid and stupid”.

She also has a connection to “bestie and drag sister” Krystal Versace, who came out on top in the third series of Drag Race UK.
She said: “We’ve known each other since we were 11 when we met at school. ‘But DeDe is DeDe and I can’t wait for everyone to fall in love with me!’
Ginger Johnson
