“In the morning I have to take my daughter to the daycare center next to the Palais des Congrès. “It’s not normal for children to see people smoking crack, selling drugs, relieving themselves or masturbating through the window,” complains a shocked Phil Chu.
He has lived in Chinatown for ten years and is now thinking about moving to his parents in the Eastern Townships.
“My daughter is at an age where she is asking questions,” he adds, fearing that his child will experience too much suffering too young.
