Moscow calls on the parties to return to compliance with the trilateral agreements of Russia, Azerbaijan and Armenia on Nagorno-Karabakh, the Russian Foreign Ministry reiterates. “The most important thing now is to immediately return to compliance with the trilateral agreements signed in 2020-2022, which set out all the measures for a peaceful solution to the Nagorno-Karabakh issue,” the statement said, calling on both parties to “to stop the armed conflicts”. “To combat hostilities and do everything possible to protect the people of Nagorno-Karabakh and defend their interests.”

Baku: “Success of operations in Nagorno-Karabakh”
The army of Azerbaijan continues successful anti-terror activities in the Nagorno-Karabakh region, the country’s Defense Ministry said in a statement cited by Tass. “The anti-terrorist activities carried out by the Armed Forces of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Karabakh economic region continue successfully. Units of the Azerbaijani Army neutralized combat positions, military vehicles, artillery and anti-aircraft missile launchers, radio stations and other military vehicles of the formations of the Armed Forces of Armenia,” the note said.
Azerbaijan’s offensive will end when Armenian separatists “lay down their weapons,” Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev said in a phone call with U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken. “The Azerbaijani head of state said that counterterrorism measures will be stopped if (Armenian separatists) lay down their arms and are disarmed,” the Azerbaijani presidency said in a statement, adding that the talks with Blinken took place yesterday.
Guterres (UN) calls for an immediate end to the fighting
The Secretary General of the United Nations, Antonio Guterres, called for an “immediate end to fighting” in the Nagorno-Karabakh region, where Azerbaijan launched a new military offensive on Tuesday. “The Secretary-General strongly calls for an immediate end to the fighting, de-escalation and stricter compliance with the 2020 ceasefire and the principles of international humanitarian law,” spokesman Stéphane Dujarric said in a statement.
