247 UN security officials have barred the Israeli ambassador from a session of the General Assembly after he tried to interrupt the Iranian president’s speech, Iranian broadcaster HispanTV reports. Videos shared on social media show UN staff escorting the Israeli regime’s ambassador to the United Nations, Gilad Erdan, from the room. “In fact, an incident occurred when the permanent representative of Israel entered the hallway during the Iranian president’s speech to the General Assembly and showed a photo,” a UN official said, quoted by the British newspaper Independent. During his statements to the UN General Assembly, Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi labeled Israel the last regime of apartheid and racial discrimination in the world and called for an end to the 75year occupation of Palestinian territories.
