Peter Crouch was so fed up with his wife Abbey Clancy’s sleeping habits that he decided to take matters into his own hands – and she wasn’t happy.
The former professional footballer, 47, described the model’s behavior as “outrageous” and “annoying”.
The revelation came during a conversation on her popular podcast, The Therapy Crouch.
Abbey, 37, said: “Because you know how many times I’ve been called out on this podcast for taking Pete’s side at bedtime because I’m usually on Pete’s side.”
Then Peter chimed in: “It’s outrageous!” It’s mental, by the way.’

Abbey continued: “He has the charger at his side so I can charge my phone, have my cup of tea, warm the bed for him and then slide over, but now he’s up the stairs ahead of me and he’s on my side! “
“And I say, ‘Get out of bed!’ I really like laying down in a cold bed!’
Peter was shocked by her admission and replied, “Me too!” That’s what I mean, it’s annoying, isn’t it? You stay on your side and I’ll stay on mine.’
Then Abbey said shyly, “Why don’t we just meet in the middle?”
Fans flocked to the comments section, but instead of debating whether Abby’s bedwarming was a nice gesture that should be appreciated or whether Peter’s retreat was justified, followers couldn’t help but notice Abby’s faux pas.

Earlier this month, the couple shocked fans when they revealed that their daughter Sophia had heard their X-rated joke about sex – and knew what it meant!
The mother-of-four told how she found out: “She said, ‘I know what that is, mum.’ You’re mean.” She said, “You’re disgusting.” She says, “I know what that means.”
