Kevin Kelsy made history on September 19 by scoring on his UEFA Champions League debut. The 19-year-old Venezuelan striker scored the goal for his team Shakhtar Donetsk against Porto on the first day of Group H of the competition. Who is Kevin Kelsy?
Kevin Jesus Kelsy Genez was born on July 27, 2004 in Valencia, Venezuela. The player measures 1.93 meters and reaches a height of 1.93 meters Miners from Guyana in 2021, but managed to establish himself as he scored his first goals for the club.
In 2023 Boston River Uruguay signed him, but a few days later he was bought by the Shakhtar Donetskde laUkrainian Premier Leagueuntil 2027. This is done in exchange for one million euros and in the middle of the war between Russia and Ukraine.

On March 12, he scored the first goal in the team’s jersey. Shakhtar for the first division of this country. On the 16th of the same month, aged just 18, he scored his first goal in European competitions in the 2022–23 Europa League.
He became the youngest Venezuelan player to score in a European international competition and for the Ukrainian team. He also managed to be crowned champions with the Ukrainian first division team.
Kelsy wrote on September 19th despite the loss of his team Shakhtar Donetsk before postage. At the age of 19 years, 1 month and 20 days, he became the Venezuelan footballer and the fourth South American to score in European tournaments.

Kevin Kelsy He made his debut with the Venezuelan U20 team on October 4, 2022 for the 2022 South American Games. He managed to score two goals in three games. He was also part of the 2023 South American U-20 squad and took part in eight games without scoring.
