Development in the case of the laboratory technician at a pharmacy in Sherbrooke who used the cell phone number on a customer’s file to make advance payments to him via SMS. After his employer’s internal investigation, the technician was fired.

About an hour after his visit to the pharmacy last week, Patrick Plamondon received the following text message: “I was the one who served you at the front desk [de la pharmacie] Sometimes. To be honest and not ashamed to say it, I thought you were really good looking and if you don’t try you won’t get anything, so first I wanted to know if you like women, men or both? Then would you like to go for a walk or have a coffee soon?

The customer was shocked and immediately filed a complaint with the pharmacy where the technician works.
According to Mr. Plamondon, who denounced this behavior at TVA on Monday, two other customers received the same type of message from this employee.
However, this information was not confirmed by the pharmacy management, but they confirmed the dismissal of the employee.
