Ed Sheeran gives surprise concerts at his fans’ homes

Ed Sheeran is closer to his fans for his album Autumn variations.

Ahead of the release of his latest record, the 32-year-old singer revealed on Instagram that he held surprise concerts at his fans’ homes to create live versions of the new tracks.

“So I did a few surprise shows at my fans’ houses and secretly recorded an Autumn Variations live album where each song was recorded in a different fan’s living room, but it was all a complete surprise,” the artist explained next to one Video showing him singing and playing the piano in the living room of a visibly moved fan.

“At the end of the day we arrived at @kariconaway and I immediately knew it would be fun. “In the beginning there were cats, friendship bracelets and fruity drinks, but when I played the song Autumn I said, ‘Take me for a ride.’ And when I went into his room I saw a piano,” he continued.

The Shape Of You singer explained that the fan invited him to play keyboard, which he did for his 2011 song “Wake Me Up.” “She asked me if I could play in it and I said, ‘Not really, but I’ll play a little bit on ‘Wake.'” “Me Up.” So here I am playing Wake Me Up for all the Plus fans out there,” he wrote.

The singer concluded with the words: “The album Autumn Variations will be available soon in the fan lounge, the actual album will be released on September 29th, pre-order it, you X-Legends.” »

Autumn Variations will be the singer’s second album of the year, following Subtract, which was released in May. According to Billboard, Ed Sheeran is also preparing to release a third album, although he hasn’t given any details yet.
