Cindy Crawford has spoken about her marriage to Richard Gere.
During her new documentary series on Apple TV+, The Super Models, the 57-year-old star opened up about her past relationship with the now 74-year-old Pretty Woman actress. “At the beginning of a relationship, as a young woman, you ask yourself: ‘You like baseball? I like baseball. Do you really like Tibetan Buddhism? I might like that. I’ll try,’” explained the model, based on Richard Gere’s religious practice.

Cindy Crawford, who was 22 when she met the actor, added: “You’re willing to adapt to the person you’re in love with. » The couple married in Las Vegas in 1991. Three years later, the two stars announced their separation.
“He was older, so I was in a different circle and didn’t do the same fashion things anymore,” the model said.
Cindy Crawford spoke to Porter magazine back in 2015 about the short-lived marriage, explaining that she and the Just Married (or almost Just Married) actor “didn’t spend enough time together.”
The model then married her current husband Rande Gerber in 1998. They have two children, Kaia (22) and Presley (24). Richard Gere is married to the Spanish advertising executive Alejandra Silva. The couple said “I do” in 2018.
