The cause of death of actor Angus Cloud was determined to be an accidental overdose of a drug mixture, the coroner’s office in Alameda County in the United States announced on Thursday (21).
The American, known for his work on the series “Euphoria,” died in July at the age of 25.
According to the website Deadline, the actor died of “acute intoxication” caused by a fatal dose of methamphetamine, fentanyl, cocaine and benzodiazepines (used to treat anxiety and insomnia, for example).

At the time of his death, the family released a statement saying the actor was depressed over his father’s death a week earlier.
“The only comfort we have is knowing that Angus is now reunited with his father, who was his best friend. Angus was open about his struggle with mental health and we hope his death reminds others that they are not alone and should not struggle “alone in silence,” the text read.
Cloud became known for his role as Fez in Euphoria, his first acting job. In the first two seasons he stood out as a drug dealer who was friends with the protagonist, played by Zendaya, with whom he was a classmate at school.
During his short career, he also starred in the films “North Hollywood” (2021) and “The Line” (2023). In May, he was announced in a monster movie directed by Matt BettinelliOlpin and Tyler Gillett, duo of “Scream 6” (2023).
