There is a rumor circulating in the hallways of many editorial offices that fashion no longer invents anything. Or maybe not. “Making it weird” is certainly the winning formula that attracts attention: a good example was the fake miniskirt, which astonished not so much for its features but for its concept. It’s all a matter of design and modeling to amaze. And now that Milan Fashion Week is underway, the time has come for the fringe slit skirt. And it has nothing to do with fabric backgrounds and folds.

Neither the slits nor the fringes are new, but in a unique construction they also turn the classic skirt into a feminine object to desire and try on. And, why not, surprise too.
