He then thanked the donor’s family. “I thank the donor’s family, I am at a loss for words but I will pray for them for the rest of my life.”
The presenter said that his son João Guilherme Silva’s stepdaughter, AnneMarie, was his inspiration. The girl underwent a heart transplant last year.
“I would like to say that the inspiration for this transplant for me was a 14yearold girl, Anne Garnero, who waited six months. I had better luck with the question of my blood type and she waited six months. “It was transplanted back in January last year and today it is doing very well and with incredible vitality,” he said.
Faustão also stressed the need to make Brazil a reference. “Don’t give up, the dream is worth it. The mission now is to make everyone aware of how they can work together to make Brazil a fundraising champion. And that the authorities distribute centers across the country so that people from the north are served and the northeast does not necessarily have to be connected to the southeast.
He concluded by explaining that recovery should take between two and three months: “The mission continues to dismantle increasing prejudice and misinformation we know the education problem in the country is serious so that everyone is aware. Now I’m closing because I have a second phase. There are still two or three months left of physical therapy for recovery. And let’s fight.”
