The events occurred at the exit of the bars near the PMF nightclub in the alley. SPS patrols reportedly noticed an argument. “They immediately went there to find out about the situation,” confirms the organization’s PR officer, Benoit Pellerin.
A 23-year-old young man then ran toward the patrol officers “with a head injury and profuse bleeding,” he said.
“At this point he can confirm that he was attacked by another person,” Benoit Pellerin wrote in a press release. While she waited for paramedics, police quickly administered first aid. The young man was treated and taken to hospital for treatment of injuries that were not life-threatening.”
Reinforcement was requested on site. The police met with various witnesses and secured the crime scene. Investigators and forensic scientists are also on duty “to advance the investigation.”
Traffic has been restored on Wellington Street North.
