Strictly Come Dancing fans notice an awkward moment between Bobby Brazier and Dianne Buswell after their first live performance

Strictly Come Dancing fans noticed an awkward moment between Bobby Brazier and Dianne Buswell during Saturday night’s episode.

Viewers were left in hysterics after they were caught confusing Bobby with the Strictly schedule and allegedly believing he was dancing on Sunday night.

As presenters Tess Daley and Claudia Winkleman said goodnight to the audience and those watching at home, Bobby appeared confused.

The EastEnders actor, who previously admitted he had never seen the show before, discreetly asked Dianne if they were dancing tomorrow.

A grinning Dianne shook her head and said “next week” as Bobby confirmed that he now knew the schedule.

One viewer gushed with the footage on Twitter, writing: “Asked Bobby if they’re dancing tomorrow and Diane says… damn please I love that he has no idea what’s going on.”

And it seems the performance touched the heart as Bobby’s father Jeff Brazier shed a tear at the end of the performance.

As he stood to accept the judges’ comments, Tess pointed to the father in the audience, who was visibly overcome with emotion after seeing his eldest son.

Jeff raised 20-year-old Bobby and his 19-year-old brother Freddie as a single father after their mother Jade Goody tragically died of cervical cancer in 2009.

The Big Brother star died aged just 27, leaving behind Bobby and Freddie, who were just four and five at the time.

Bobby joked during an appearance on This Morning earlier this week that he had never watched Strictly before signing up for the show and had never heard of any of the dances.

But on Saturday evening none of that seemed to matter as he wowed the judges with his sweet foxtrot.

And it’s not the first time Bobby recently reduced his father to tears after he was swollen with pride as his son accepted the Rising Star award at the National Television Awards earlier this month.

The budding actor is making a career for himself on screen with his role as Freddie Slater in EastEnders.

After his name was announced, Bobby immediately hugged his 44-year-old father, who seemed overjoyed at his son’s success.

Bobby credited Jeff for his win on stage, saying, “It has very little to do with me and everything to do with my dad.”

“Over the last 20 years I have heard him say, “Because I can.” It was a mantra of his and he simply said, “Because I can.” Because I can do it, why not?’

Earlier this month, Bobby opened up about what his late mother Jady Goody would think of him starring in the BBC show.

Bobby, who was five when he lost his mother, said he thought she would be “happy” if he took part in the competition after telling the show about his plans to pay tribute to her with a dance routine .

In conversation with OK! Magazine, the EastEnders star said: “She would be happy if I did something that made me happy.” Like all my friends and all my family and everyone who loves me.

“They’re happy for me because they know how much fun I’m going to have and how happy I am just to be here.”

Bobby also talked about how he plans to dedicate one of his dance routines to his late mother.

Speaking exclusively to Web at the National Television Awards last week, Bobby revealed the songs he wants to dance to on the show.

He said: “There are a few – it depends on the mood. ‘Saturday Love’ and also ‘This Woman’s Worth’ by Maxwell – that would be lovely, I would hope I could make people cry with it.”

Bobby added, “Maybe I’ll dedicate that.” [to my mum]. I haven’t thought about it, but maybe this one.’
