The OC star Mischa Barton was unceremoniously mocked by some of Australia’s top comedians after her debut on Amazon’s Neighbors reboot last week.

Even though the US actress’ fame has faded since her glory days on OC, fans were still surprised that the former Hollywood It Girl, 37, chose to take part in a relatively low-budget production like ‘ Neighbors”.

Mischa appeared on Monday’s episode of the comedy show Have You Been Paying Attention? from Channel 10. to promote her new role, but was brutally roasted on live television.

Mischa played the role of guest quiz master and asked the jury to name the show in which she was currently appearing.

Comedian Anne Edmonds quickly replied: “Bondi Career Rescue,” while panelists Kitty Flanagan, Sam Pang and Jason Leong burst out laughing.

“That’s not nice… it’s ‘Where are they now?'” joked comedian Ed Kavalee.

Mischa’s character Reece Sinclair has already caused quite a stir with her raunchy antics on Ramsay Street.

In her first scene, Reece tries to get help with her luggage as she checks into Lassiters Hotel, owned by Paul Robinson.

After being snubbed by the receptionist who was having trouble getting her computer to work, Paul hired Byron Stone (Xavier Molyneux) to help Reece with her luggage.

Reece is seen entering the elevator with the attractive hotel employee, who also doubles as a male escort, and things immediately heat up between the two as they share a smooch.

Mischa began her career as a child actress in Hollywood films such as The Sixth Sense and Notting Hill, both released in 1999.

However, she became a bona fide superstar when she was cast as troubled teenager Marissa in the hit TV series “OC” from 2003 to 2007.

The Amazon Prime reboot of Neighbors is already streaming on Channel 10 and 10Play and is due to arrive on the streaming giant on September 25th.
