Taylor Swift fans were thrilled as the pop star enthusiastically cheered on her rumored boyfriend, NFL tight end Travis Kelce.
The “Karma” singer’s appearance at the Kansas City Chiefs’ home game against the Chicago Bears on Sunday (September 25) came after weeks of rumors that she and Kelce were dating. The 33-year-old soccer player reportedly gave Swift, also 33, her number when she attended one of her Eras Tour shows in July.
While Swift previously remained quiet about the rumors, Kelce confirmed his romantic gesture on an episode of his podcast New Heights, where he revealed that he had made a beaded friendship bracelet with his fingers.
Swift’s fans, known as Swifties, often make their own friendship bracelets to bring to her shows and trade with each other.
During Sunday’s game, Swift was seen sitting in a box next to Kelce’s mother, Donna, where she appeared to shout “Let’s go!” in response to Kelce’s touchdown reception in the third quarter.
The couple was later filmed leaving Arrowhead Stadium together by sportscaster Jarred Payton. “Talk about being in the right place at the right time! “Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce leaving Arrowhead together after the game,” Payton wrote on Instagram.
Fans noticed that Kelce was wearing a Swift-matching 1989 “Bedroom Painting” jacket from KidSuper. Swift is currently planning to release her 2014 re-recorded album “1989.”

“The devil works hard, but Taylor Swift works harder,” joked one fan who shared the clip, referring to Swift’s tendency to hide Easter eggs about her new music in surprising places.
Other fans happily recalled Swift’s music video for her hit “You Belong With Me,” in which her character has a crush on a soccer player.
“The way everything lines up with Taylor is crazy because here she is in the ‘You Belong With Me’ video cheering on her footballer crush getting a touchdown and the actor who played him is was in the movie “Hannah Montana” (also with Taylor) and his character’s name was…Travis,” fan Jessica wrote on Twitter/X.
Last week on The Pat McAfee Show, Kelce opened up about his love life for the first time after the host asked if he wanted to “expand” on the relationship theories circulating.
Although he wasn’t sure if he and Swift had ever met, Kelce revealed the message he sent her.
“I saw you rock the stage at Arrowhead [Stadium]. “Maybe you need to come and see me rocking the stage at Arrowhead and see which one is a little brighter,” he reportedly told the “22” singer.

“I threw it out there, I threw the ball in their court,” Kelce told McAfee. He added that he was amused by the huge interest in being with the musician.
“It’s hilarious how much traction this has actually gotten, it’s like a game of telephone right now,” he noted. “Where everyone whispers in each other’s ears and hears random things.”

On September 20, Kelce’s brother Jason also commented on the issue during an appearance on DeCamara & Ritchie on Audacy’s 94WIP Morning Show.
When asked about the speculation, Jason admitted that he believed the romance between his younger brother and Swift was “100 percent true.”
“That’s hard to answer because I don’t really know much about Travis’ love life,” the Philadelphia Eagles player said. “I try to keep his business like his own business and stay out of that world. But still, I think he’s doing great and I think it’s all 100 percent true.”
And according to him, his older brother’s comment on the matter only added fuel to the fire.
“Nobody really knows what’s going on, especially when Jason Kelce on live TV is just telling people both sides – he doesn’t know, it’s true, this and that,” Kelce continued. “The guy is absolutely ridiculous. I just can’t escape the damn headlines.”
The Independent has contacted representatives for Kelce and Swift for comment.
Swift split from her longtime boyfriend, British actor Joe Alwyn, in April. She was then briefly linked to The 1975 frontman Matty Healy, but the pair split just weeks after the rumors first surfaced.
