Keke Palmer was quick to silence Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager during an awkward on-air conversation on Monday when she told the two to “mind your business” after they tried to talk to her on-off -To investigate relationship with Darius Jackson.
Keke, 30, and her boyfriend Darius, who gave birth to their baby son Leodis in February, were reportedly in turmoil after he went viral for publicly shaming her after she died at an Usher concert in Las Vegas in July wore a sheer dress.
Hoda, 59, and Jenna, 41, were eager to get the latest on their romance when Keke joined them in the Today studio to talk motherhood and her 30th birthday.
Regarding her birthday party in August, Jenna blurted out, “Can I tell you, I was watching… it might have been on your 30th birthday… you and Darius were out for a drink!”
Keke quickly replied: “Oh, at the Beyoncé concert!” As mother-of-three Jenna admitted: “I saw it live!”

The actress continued, “The Beyoncé concert…First of all, it was the second time I’ve been there.” I went to my homegirls first and he was like, “I heard everyone goes for their birthday.” I asked: “Does that mean we’re going again?”
“And the funny thing is, he and I tried to do a duck walk and then started doing the Vogue dance. We’re all about that!’ she added, referencing their date night at Bey’s show.
Jenna then asked, “Is it all about him?” as Keke laughed as she accused them of trying to “get involved in everything.”
“Hey, listen, you were a talk show host. ‘You know!’ Jenna shot back as Hoda added, “And you kind of brought it up!”
“We want to know if you’re happy!” Jenna pleaded as Keke replied, “Yes, life is good.” “I have nothing but gratitude, honestly, seriously,” as Hoda finished her sentence and suggested, “For the relationship …”
“I’m not trying to be specific!” Keke shot back when Jenna asked, “So, are you all together?”
“You know, I’m going to take a page out of my friend Beyoncé’s book… make sure it’s y’all’s business!” she said as Hoda and Jenna said at the same time, “Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh.”
Mother-of-one Keke confirmed that “life is good” and said she has “nothing but gratitude.” Hoda and Jenna looked a little stunned as Keke told them, “Mind your business.” The actress and singer refused to confirm whether she is still in a relationship with Darius
Back in August, it was reported that Keke and Darius had broken up after he publicly shamed her on social media for wearing a sheer black polka dot dress to an Usher show.
“It’s the outfit even though you’re a mother,” he tweeted alongside a video of Keke being serenaded by the R&B singer.
However, in an Instagram post shared on Keke’s 30th birthday on August 26, Darius referred to her as his “partner in crime.”
Darius, 29, posted a short video clip on X – formerly known as Twitter – of Keke cuddling her baby boy Leodis “Leo” Andrellton Jackson.
“Happy birthday to a unique being. I hope your 30s bring you many joys and triumphs,” he wrote.
In the video, Keke leaned over her son, who was lying on a couch, and grabbed her finger.
“Let them cook,” the singer said as she kissed Leo as he giggled.
During an Instagram Live, Darius filmed Keke talking about her star sign over lunch.
“Virgins don’t believe the hype.” [and] You are one of the greatest speakers [sic] for himself,” he said, before Keke noted that he’s “really into the virgins.”
The personal trainer added: “My mom is a virgin, my brother is a virgin, my best friend is a virgin, my grandma is a virgin.” [and] “My partner in crime is a virgin.”

The Nope actress thanked Jackson for taking her to lunch.
“D, I know you took me out on my birthday like you always do.” “I mean, it’s not always my birthday, but you always take me out,” she said in a clip she received Pop Crave.
“But I just thank you for making it special for my birthday, that’s so sweet,” Keke added.
The couple has been together since August 2021 and gave birth to their son in February.
