12:42 – GOAL NJ 3-1 On the power play, Jack Hughes makes fun of the Canadiens defense and passes to Dawson Mercer. The latter scored an easy goal that increased the score to 3-1 in favor of New Jersey.

11:40 – Jakub Dobes takes Samuel Montembeault’s spot in front of the Canadiens’ net.

11:40 – Nathan Légaré receives a penalty. The Devils will play on the power play.

06:06 – Kyle Criscuolo receives a penalty. The Canadians will play on the power play.

03:32 – GOAL NJ 2-1 Samuel Montembeault covers his net poorly on a free kick from Simon Nemec and allows a very poor goal. The Devils take a 2-1 lead.
