According to raw data released by the Ministry of Health on Sunday, the number of patients in hospitals because of the coronavirus increased from 1994 to 1926. There are 66 people in intensive care, two more than the previous day.

Only two new deaths were added to the death toll. We now regret 15,139 COVID-19-related deaths since it emerged in Quebec.

The Ministry of Health is also reporting 822 new cases since the previous report. Since the beginning of the pandemic, the authorities have registered 1,052,015 cases of infection. However, the number of cases reported is not representative of the situation as access to screening centers is restricted to priority clients.

According to website VaccinTrackerQC, 20,869 doses of vaccine have been administered in the past 24 hours, mostly second booster doses.

The percentage of people 5 years and older who received a first dose is 91.42%. It is also reported that 87.68% of the Quebec population received a second dose and 59.13% received a booster dose.
