Russian air defense said it repelled four “terrorist” Ukrainian drone attacks on the Kursk border region. According to a statement from the Ministry of Defense, two drones were destroyed around 10:30 p.m. local time yesterday, and two more about an hour and a half later. The regional capital Kursk was already attacked on Sunday with drones, one of which hit the building of the Russian domestic secret service (FSB) and another an oil refinery, Kiev media report. President Volodymyr Zelensky has confirmed the arrival of the first US-made Abrams tanks in Ukraine. The commander of the Russian Black Sea Fleet, Admiral Viktor Sokolov, was killed in Crimea: this was announced by the Ukrainian special forces, Rbc-Ukraine reported. Sokolov died last Friday in the attack on the naval headquarters in occupied Crimea. A total of 34 officers were killed, including Sokolow, the statement said. Another 105 Russians were injured.
