Ukrainian forces thwart attempt to withdraw Russian reconnaissance group, killing 51 invaders

In defense of Ukraine’s southern front, Ukrainian defenders uncovered and foiled an attempt by Russian forces to eliminate a reconnaissance team, killing 51 intruders and destroying their equipment.

Details: During the day there were no significant changes in the positions on the line of contact on the Kherson and Mykolaiv fronts.

However, Ukrainian units spotted and foiled an attempt by the intruder to take out a reconnaissance team just in time. As a result of the battle, one Russian soldier was killed, one wounded, and one captured.

After hitting the city of Mykolaiv with multiple rocket launchers, the Russian invaders terrorized other southern regions with rocket attacks throughout the day.

Orlan-10 reconnaissance UAVs were shot down over the Kherson region, and a Forpost UCAV armed with guided missiles was shot down over the Odessa region.

Russian invaders carried out nine missile attacks on the Odessa region in the past 24 hours, mostly using aircraft. 6 missiles were pinpoint destroyed by Ukrainian air defense forces.

The strikes damaged a substation and a gas pipeline in the area, destroyed several private homes and damaged recreational areas. There were sacrifices.

The Ukrainian air force, as well as rocket and artillery units, carried out about 50 strikes on the invaders’ positions.

“We received confirmation of enemy losses for the previous day: another 56 Russians, 3 more multi-launch missile systems, 4 armored personnel carriers, 2 vehicles, as well as a heavily damaged Zoopark 2 artillery-locating radar system,” the statement said.
