Murderer Taylor Schabusiness said she will die in prison for killing a man during sex and dismembering him: Victim’s uncle wants a spit-mask murderer like Jeffrey Dahmer to be slaughtered

A married woman who killed and dismembered her ex-boyfriend in a meth attack has been sentenced to life in prison without parole for the twisted killing.

Taylor Schabusiness, 25, appeared to be smiling beneath the large white mask as she appeared in Brown County Circuit Court wearing a jail-issued orange jumpsuit with handcuffs around her wrists.

Judge Thomas Walsh gave her a life sentence for the murder of Shad Thyrion, 24, whom she strangled with a chain in February 2022 before beheading him and dismembering his body.

He decided she posed a danger to the public and was sentenced to life in prison without extended supervision for murder, plus an additional ten and a half years for mutilation of a corpse and sexual assault.

She refused to speak in court and repeatedly shook her head and grimaced as the judge described her heinous crimes.

Kelly Thyrion, Shad’s uncle, addressed Judge Walsh by calling her “s*** business” before asking him to deny her probation.

“After Judge Walsh sentences you today, I will pray that you meet the same fate as your idol, Jeffrey Dahmer,” he said. “So have a great life, s***business.”

He added: “I see no reason why you should be paroled.” “You did the most cowardly and weakest thing possible.”

Serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer was sentenced to 15 consecutive life sentences, but only served two before he was beaten to death by fellow inmate Charles Sarver.

Thyrion’s father, Michael, told his son’s killer that he had forgiven her and asked the judge to give her “a chance” despite her drug-fueled killing spree.

He said, “I forgive you and will ask the judge if you can see the streets again sometime.” I think everyone makes bad decisions – maybe not to this extent.

“I think that there is great hope that you will become a better person and I think that you will still achieve great things. “I wish you no harm and hope that you are well.”

Schabusiness, of Green Bay, Wisconsin, laughed at footage of herself talking about choking Thyrion with a chain during sex before mutilating his corpse.

The ailing killer was found guilty of murder, third-degree sexual abuse and mutilation of a corpse after trial in July.

She killed Thyrion in his mother’s basement, telling the court that she “enjoyed” the killing and enjoyed cutting off her lover’s head.

“I was vacuuming and cutting at the same time,” Schabusiness said in the video. ‘I liked it. I did not know, what I should do.’

Her grandmother, Esther Coronado, argued in court that Schabusiness should be granted probation and extended supervision before she is sentenced by Judge Thomas Walsh.

“I know she committed a crime and they want her to pay for it,” Coronado said at the hearing. “But I think she should have the opportunity to return to society and be with her son.”

The Brown County jury deliberated less than an hour before convicting Schabusiness, who scattered his body parts around the home he shared with his mother and in a vehicle.

Thyrion’s severed head and penis were found by his mother, Tara Pakanich, and her boyfriend, Steve Hendricks, in a bucket in the basement of their home.

When officers searched the property, additional body parts were found in various bags in the basement, including plastic shopping bags.

His torso was found in a storage bag along with a carving knife and several internal organs. Schabusiness told police that she had planned to take the body parts with her.

Hendricks called 911 and told the dispatcher that his girlfriend “swears she found her son’s severed head in the basement.”

“I opened the towel,” Hendricks can be heard telling police. “I picked up the towel and dropped it because I don’t know what the fuck that is, man. I have bad eyesight and she asks, ‘Is that what I think?’ I don’t fucking know.’

Schabusiness said she “got lazy” after dismembering her lover and planned to take his body parts with her in her minivan.

However, she claims that she was ill-prepared to dispose of the body because the murder was accidental and not planned.

When Green Bay Police Officer Alex Wanish arrived at the scene, he reported “observing the plastic bucket on the ground…”[with] a shower/beach towel over the bucket.’

The officer “picked up the towel and observed a human head in the bucket” and also noticed “what appeared to be dried blood on a nearby mattress.”

Officers found Schabusiness, still covered in blood moments later, with scratches on her arm and a cut on her left thumb from the knife she used to dismember Thyrion.

Schabusiness, who is married to a convicted felon and recently became the mother of a son, admitted that she and Thyrion had taken drugs – including smoking methamphetamine – earlier in the day.

In an interview, she told officers that she and Thyrion had injected trazodone, a powerful sedative.

On February 24, the day after Thyrion's gruesome death, his uncle posted on Facebook:

Police recovered evidence of drug use at the scene, including a glass pipe and a bag of light powder.

She told police that she and Thyrion wanted to have sex and that he produced two metal chains, one for him and one for her.

The murderer claims that he put the chain around his neck because they had previously attempted strangulation during sexual intercourse.

But then she shocked investigators with her next comment when she blurted out: “Damn head. I can’t believe I left the head though.”

According to the complaint filed, she then told officers that they would “have fun finding all the organs since she had dismembered the body.”

Schabusiness remained calm and told investigators that after Thyrion put the chain around his neck – which she likened to a dog choke collar – she simply went “crazy” as she strangled him.

She said she could feel his heartbeat, “so she pulled and choked him harder and harder” and claimed he wasn’t going to die as he was simply “growing back into muscle.”

Green Bay police Detective David Graf told the court that the twisted killer told officers that she hugged Thyrion’s headless corpse after the murder.

He said: “She described having sexual contact with the body by playing with his penis.”

“She also described having a dildo that she put in his mouth… And that she also nuzzled the body.”

After her arrest, Schabusiness was found not guilty by the court on her behalf and her former lawyer maintained that she was not guilty by reason of insanity.

Brown County Circuit Court Judge Thomas Walsh ruled in March that Schabusiness had standing to stand trial.

In February, Schabusiness attacked her former attorney during a hearing before a deputy forced her into the courtroom.

Brown County District Attorney David Lasee called the case “bizarre” and told the jury that Schabusiness also had sex with the corpse.

At a previous hearing, a jury ruled that she was responsible for Thyrion’s murder and was not suffering from mental illness at the time of the incident.

Her father told jurors during the trial that her mother died in her sleep and that the death had taken a toll on all family members. A psychologist claimed that she was not fit to stand trial.

Dr. Diane Lytton added that she felt Schabusiness was psychotic and was having visual and auditory hallucinations, but the jury disagreed and decided she should be sent to prison instead of a secure facility.
