Child killed in Germany
Joel had vanished into thin air: he had gone out to play in the afternoon but had not returned until dinner.
The alarmed parents therefore contacted the authorities and neighbors. Many of the village’s residents are located in Mecklenburg-Western Pomeraniaextreme Northeast GermanyThey took to the streets to look for Joel: on foot, by bike, by car. The mayor also took part in the search.
After a few hours, firefighters found the little boy in a pool of blood in a bush near the Pragsdorf sports field.
The boy had been stabbed again and again in the upper body.

Community in shock
It was impossible to save his life: his injuries were too severe. The child’s death shocked public opinion in the small community, which lies about 180 kilometers north of Berlin.
“We have 150 children in the village, that’s no big deal has never happened here“, a resident told the local press. “It’s terrible! I spoke to Joel’s mother this morning. She doesn’t know what to do anymore.
The investigation then continued and that was it found a knife. Many of the villagers were questioned.
“It is important to interview residents as quickly as possible, while their memories are still fresh,” said the local police spokesman.
Friends and acquaintances of Joel’s family have now started one Fundraiser to support the severely affected family.
On the morning of Tuesday, September 26th the arrest of the 14-year-oldsuspected guilty, details of which have not been released.
The boy had already attracted attention in the past aggressive behavior towards other children, said Chief Detective Olaf Hildebrand at a police press conference.
The motive is still being searched
The motive for the murder still remains unclear.
Meanwhile, the place where Joel was found is full of teddy bears and toys.
