The actress Bruna Guerin became the target of attacks on social media this Tuesday (September 26th) after she was identified as key to the separation of Sandy and Lucas Lima. The couple announced the end of their almost 24year relationship on Monday (September 25). Guerin recently starred alongside Lucas Lima in the musical Once, which fueled speculation from Sandy’s fans.
The friendship between the castmates attracted attention, especially after Lucas Lima left glowing comments in several of Guerin’s publications. “Few people have ever earned so much in the history of the world. You are great, partner,” wrote the musician about her nomination for the Bibi Ferreira Award. In addition, many comments in the presentations they made on television and Internet programs to promote the musical pointed to an “atmosphere” between the two.
During rehearsals for the play, Lucas even left his home in Campinas with Sandy to stay alone in São Paulo.
Audience reactions
The theories went viral and the result was comments on social media that were mostly negative regarding Guerin. “I came to congratulate you for destroying Sandy’s wedding,” said one netizen on the actress’ profile. Another commented: “He was the one staring even though he knew he was married. A married man praising his work friend is not cool! Lack of respect for his wife.”
Separation announcement
Sandy and Lucas Lima announced their separation in a joint message on Instagram. “It was not an easy or impulsive decision. It was practically 24 years of relationship and 15 years of marriage. With ups and downs, sometimes happier, sometimes less, but always holistic and ready to give our best. And that’s what we did,” they explained. The couple has a son, Theo, who was born in 2014 and is now 9 years old.
The musical “Once,” starring Bruna Guerin and Lucas Lima, is scheduled to return to the stage in January next year.
