As the reigning Olympic champions in soccer, the Canadians have a chance to defend their crown as they qualified for the 2024 Paris Olympics on Tuesday.
Canada was playing the second leg of its short series against Jamaica with the last available spot in the CONCACAF team at stake. The Maple Leaf won the matchup by a combined score of 4-1, thanks to a 2-1 win Tuesday in Toronto.

In front of 29,212 spectators at BMO Field, an Ontario record for a men’s or women’s soccer game, Cloé Lacasse (39th) and Jordyn Huitema (50th) scored Canada’s two goals. Jamaica took the lead in the 33rd minute through Drew Spence.
