Right wing extremist “species community” banned Politics

Federal Minister of the Interior Nancy Faeser (SPD) banned a right-wing extremist organization calling itself “The Community of the Species – German Faith Community for an Essential Way of Life”. The club is considered racist, anti-Semitic and cultish. According to the Ministry of the Interior, it has 150 members and is directed against the constitutional order.

“Under the guise of a pseudo-religious Germanic belief in gods, the ‘Commonwealth of Species’ spreads its worldview that violates human dignity,” says a statement about the association. Based on the racial theory of National Socialism, it gives its members instructions on how to preserve their own “species”. The Ministry of the Interior considers the transmission of right-wing extremist worldview to children and young people to be particularly dangerous. The ban on the association, attributed to the ethnic background of the settlers, had been prepared for more than a year. The conclusions of the Office for the Protection of the Constitution were decisive here.

“This is another serious blow against right-wing extremism and against the intellectual arsonists who continue to spread Nazi ideologies to this day”, Interior Minister Nancy Faeser (SPD) is quoted in the statement. As the ministry also reports, police forces have been searching 26 apartments belonging to 39 club members and club rooms in twelve federal states since the early hours of the morning. The ban also applies to all sub-organizations. These included so-called “associations”, “guilds”, “circles of friends” and an association called “Familienwerk”.

Last week, Faeser had already banned the right-wing extremist association “Hammerskins Deutschland”, as well as its regional branches and the sub-organization “Crew 38”.
